Riverside Tower Presentation Model

A 1:200 scale model of a riverside residential tower on a context base, lit with soft side light against a bone-toned background.

Placeholder — awaiting the client's own photography.

The brief

A 32-storey riverside residential tower, needed for a board presentation in three weeks. The model had to make the building's relationship to the river line immediately legible, and had to survive being carried onto a flight.

How we made it

Built as three parts that key together. The tower itself was printed in resin to hold the balcony and sunshade detail; the base and river context were built up from laser-cut board to keep the weight down. It shipped in a foam-cut crate sized for aircraft hold.
